Below is a description.
When the helicopter lifts from Redhill Aerodrome it gives you a great sense of the vast amount of open space on route to the big city. Taking in view of the Surrey borders, we head in the direction of the Epsom Downs and the racecourse, then you'll head towards Richmond to meet up with the Thames which gives you the opportunity to see Kew Gardens and Richmond Park.
So if your trying to imagine how far can you see from a distance, when arriving at Richmond on a reasonable day you will see Wembley Stadium.
So it's at this point the actual London helicopter sightseeing tour begins, your journey will always be on the route of the River Thames taking in views such as Craven Cottage and the Chelsea Football Club. On the north bank will be Chelsea Harbour and on the south bank Battersea Power Station looms. You can clearly see Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall and the private gardens at the rear of Buckingham Palace. Houses of Parliament on one side and the Millennium Eye on the other, Trafalgar Square, Horse Guards, St Paul's Cathedral, The Globe Theatre, The City, The Tower of London, HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge. Then a spectacular close up view of the Shard Building Just as you think that the sites are coming to an end, look to the left and the Olympic Stadium is clear to see. Not far behind is Canary Wharf, The O2 Dome, City Airport and The Thames Barrier.
The final part of this excellent tour is when heading home back to Redhill Aerodrome we fly over Greenwich and via South London before your back on the ground.
